Our Story

Since embarking on our journey as active investors in 2013, we have always relied on external builders to handle our development projects. This approach has proven to be highly successful for us over the years. However, the COVID-19 pandemic presented us with unprecedented challenges, including inflation, labour shortages, and disruptions in the supply chains. These factors took a toll on our construction projects, causing them to come to a grinding halt. Nevertheless, armed with extensive knowledge of the construction industry, valuable industry connections, and exceptional project management skills, our team was able to rise above the adversity and turn the tables in our favour. We successfully transformed what seemed like a losing battle into a resounding triumph, leading us to expand into in-house construction.

12-Step Inception To Handover Procedure

Design Consultation

To commence the construction of your home, the initial and crucial step is to finalize the design on paper. This stage serves as the blueprint, outlining the Imagestructure of your future home

Quote Acceptance

Once you have made your selections for the concept floor plan and indicative inclusions, a quote will be issued to you, which can be accepted online.

Prepration Of Architectrual Plan

You will be given the chance to meet our Architect in person or through a virtual meeting, depending on your preference, to finalize the intricate details of your house plan.

Material and Colour Selection

Upon acceptance of the final floor plan, we will strive to provide you with the final Draft of the Architectural Plan along with a tender within 10 working days, necessitating your approval at this stage.

Tender Issuance

The acceptance of the tender requires an initial deposit of 5% (less deposit paid upon Quote Acceptance), which is non-refundable.

Acceptance of Tender

Once the Architectural and Engineering Plans are finalized, we will prepare a Fixed Price HIA Residential Building Contract. We will arrange a time to meet with you to sign the Contract and accompanying documents

Building Approval

Upon receiving your signed Building Contract and after the funds are cleared, we will pay all relevant insurances and levies and lodge the CDC and PC Application

Building Contract Signing

Upon completion of the Building Approval process, it is imperative to obtain confirmation of funds to cover the total contract price.

Authority to Commence Construction

Construction will commence by the specified date in your Contract, provided that Valor Homes has received the Building/ Plumbing Permits, written 'Authority to Commence Construction'

Start of Construction

Upon entering the lock-up stage of the project, our Contracts Administration Department will give you a call to schedule a convenient time for your Colour Selection Appointment.

During Construction

Be sure to keep tabs on the advancement of your project, browse through periodic inspection photos and pertinent paperwork, engage with the Valor Homes

Practical Completion

Upon completion of all work, we will schedule a convenient appointment time for you to inspect your new home with the Building Supervisor
